This genuine Royal lead cord is an OEM replacement for the metal upright series, connecting the main power cord to the motor inside the housing. It fits a wide range of models including Royal 089000, 1010, 1018Z, 1020, 1025, 1028Z, 1030DZ, 1030Z, 1038Z, 1040, 1050, 1058Z, 1059Z, 2000, and 2008.
A lead cord that has frayed or loosened at its terminals causes intermittent power or a machine that cuts in and out even when the main cord is sound. Replacing it restores a dependable electrical connection from the cord entry to the motor.
