This OEM lower handle assembly fits Dirt Devil and Royal uprights in the 670, 1020, and 7710 families. It covers the Dirt Devil 089000 and Royal 089000, 1020, 1025, 1028Z, 1030DZ, 1030Z, 1038Z, and 1040, among other Royal models. The lower handle joins the upper handle to the vacuum body.
A cracked or broken lower handle makes the machine hard to control and can wobble where it meets the body. Left in service, the play spreads to the surrounding parts. A sound handle restores secure, comfortable steering.
