This OEM fancase assembly houses the fan and directs airflow for maximum suction on Dirt Devil and Royal uprights. It fits the Dirt Devil 089000 and Royal 089000, 1020, 1025, 1028Z, 1030DZ, 1030Z, 1038Z, and 1040, forming the scroll that channels air through the machine.
A cracked or damaged fancase lets air leak past the fan, which bleeds off suction and drops cleaning performance. Fitting a fresh assembly seals the airflow path again and restores full suction through the machine.
