This genuine OEM water pan neck gasket (part #R10534) seals between the water pan and the canister body on Rainbow E2 and E series vacuums. The seal keeps air moving through the water filtration system as designed.
A worn neck gasket lets air bypass the water pan, which undercuts the water filtration and reduces cleaning effectiveness. A fresh gasket restores a proper seal so all the air passes through the filtration stage.
