This genuine OEM motor gasket (Part #R11458) seals around the motor in Rexair Rainbow E2 vacuums, fitting the E2 Series and E2 Type 12 models. It is also compatible with the R12041D and R9402 motor assemblies. The gasket forms the barrier that keeps air moving through the motor rather than leaking around it.
A worn motor gasket lets air slip past the seal, which cuts suction and allows unfiltered air to bypass the water-filtration system entirely. Fitting a fresh gasket closes those leaks so every bit of airflow is filtered and full suction returns.
