This genuine OEM plastic separator nut (Part #R12483B, R12483, R-12483) secures the water separator on Rexair Rainbow E2 vacuums, fitting all E2 Type 12 and E2 Type 23 two-speed systems. The nut threads on to hold the separator assembly firmly in place while it spins at speed.

A cracked, stripped, or missing nut lets the separator loosen during operation, which upsets the spin balance and can damage nearby parts. A fresh plastic nut clamps the separator down so it stays put and spins true. Do not use this nut if your machine was built for a brass separator nut.
