This genuine OEM rear cover assembly (Part #R14447, R-14447) fits the Rexair Rainbow E2 Type 12 Black Series canister and doubles as the HEPA filter cover and air exhaust. You remove this cover to reach the HEPA filter for replacement, and it also replaces the older part #R10597.

A cover that is cracked or warped no longer seals against the housing, which lets unfiltered air bypass the HEPA filter and escape unfiltered. A fresh cover restores a sealed exhaust so all air passes through the filter as designed.
