This brush roll bearing gasket (Part #R2443B) seals the brush roll bearing on your Rainbow D4 power nozzle and fits the Rainbow/Rexair D4. It keeps dust and hair from working their way into the bearing.
Once the gasket wears and debris slips past it, the bearing packs with grit and grinds down quickly. From there the brush roll develops a wobble, runs noisier, and eventually seizes, which can stress the belt and motor. A fresh gasket keeps the bearing sealed and the brush roll spinning smoothly.
