Product details
On a Rainbow power nozzle, the small lit lens on the housing is the only thing telling you the nozzle motor is actually drawing power. This replacement assembly, part R1818B, is that light together with its lens, and it goes into the Rexair 1650 power nozzle used on the Rainbow D3, D4 and D4SE.
Bulbs burn out and the lens itself takes knocks: it clouds, cracks, or pops loose and disappears under a couch. Neither failure stops the vacuum, which is exactly why it is annoying — when the brush roll stalls you are left guessing whether the nozzle is dead or the belt has snapped, with no indicator to settle it.
The light and lens come as one piece, so there is nothing to source separately. Fit it, run the nozzle, and check that the light responds before you close the housing back up.
