This long adapter washer (Part #R2080B) seals the joint between the long adapter and the hose on your Rainbow AquaMate carpet cleaning system. It fits the Rainbow/Rexair D3, D4, and D4SE AquaMate.
A washer that has flattened or split lets water drip at the connection instead of carrying it forward to the carpet. That wastes clean water, wets the floor around you, and starves the shampoo head of steady flow. A fresh washer closes the joint so the water goes where it should.
