This genuine OEM Hoover park switch kit fits the CH95519 and the Oreck BK95519. The switch controls power when the handle is parked upright, cutting the brush roll or motor as designed.
A failed park switch can leave the machine running when parked or refusing to start in use, both signs the contacts have worn. A fresh switch kit restores correct electrical function as you raise and lower the handle. A switch that reads the handle position correctly also protects the brush roll and floor, since the roller stops the moment you park the machine.
