This genuine OEM Oreck upper collar (part #430001003) is a housing component for the Oreck U7000ECB upright. It also fits the Hoover CH95519 and Oreck BK95519, forming the structural junction where the handle meets the body of the machine.
The upper collar absorbs leverage every time the vacuum is pushed, pulled, or reclined, so it eventually cracks or splits. A broken collar lets the handle wobble or pull away from the body, undermining control. Installing a new collar restores a solid handle mount and the machine's full range of motion.
