The handle cover on an Oreck UK30100 or UK30200 upright takes the brunt of scuffed door frames and the odd tip-over, and part 430000955 is the direct replacement, a molded shell fitted over the handle assembly at the grip point.

Wear on this piece shows up first as hairline cracks, which form at the stress points and spread outward under repeated flex. Once a corner has snapped free entirely, the shell stops clamping down on what sits underneath, so the handle starts to click and shift in your grip, and the exposed broken edge can snag a hand or a piece of furniture as the machine moves past.

This cover is specified for the UK30100, UK30100PC, UK30200 and UK30200PC, plus UK30205PC, UK30270, UH30100COM and UK30300COM, and it carries over to the Oreck BK95519 and the Hoover CH95519 as well, machines that share the same handle design. Keep the original fasteners together as the old cover comes off so nothing goes missing during the swap.
