This reusable outer cloth bag, Oreck part 430001198, is for the Elevate uprights: the UK30100 and UK30100PC and the UH30100COM. It is also catalogued as 565A00008.
The cloth bag is not the bag that collects the dirt. It is the shell around the disposable inner bag, and it does two jobs: it holds the inner bag in shape against the airflow, and it catches whatever fine dust passes through. Thin patches, small holes and a fabric that has gone stiff with trapped dust all show up the same way, as dust in the air around the machine and a bag compartment that no longer feels sealed when you close it.
Wash it occasionally per Oreck's instructions and let it dry fully before refitting, because a damp bag is worse for airflow than a dusty one.
