This OEM drive belt serves the Hoover and Oreck Elevate cordless platform, fitting the BH55500 and U7070 among others. The belt links the motor to the brush roll, transferring the drive that spins the bristles against the carpet.
A belt that has stretched, glazed, or snapped stops the brush roll turning, and the vacuum loses its carpet cleaning even while suction continues. Fitting the correct belt restores brush roll drive and full agitation.
