This genuine OEM Oreck O-ring (part #430000966) seals the lower tube on the Oreck XL21-600 and XL-700 uprights. It also fits the Hoover CH95519 and a wide range of Oreck models, including BK95519, U7000ECB, U7000ECP, U7000ECR, U7005ECB, U7010ECS, U7020ECBS, U7050ECB, U7060ECS, U7070ECS, and U7200ECB among others. The ring keeps the joint between the tube and housing airtight.
Rubber O-rings dry out, flatten, and crack with age and heat, and once the seal fails air leaks at the joint and suction drops. A fresh O-ring restores the tight seal so the full airflow reaches the nozzle.
