This genuine OEM Oreck carry handle detent (part #430001000) is the small locking component that holds the carry handle in its set position. It fits a broad range of Hoover and Oreck uprights, including Hoover CH50200, CH50300, and CH95519, plus Oreck BK95519, U2000RB-1, U7000ECB, U7000ECP, U7000ECR, U7005ECB, U7010ECS, U7020ECBS, U7050ECB, U7060ECS, and U7070ECS among others.
The detent wears with use until the handle no longer locks and flops loosely between positions. A loose carry handle is awkward and can shift unexpectedly. A fresh detent restores the firm, positive hold of the original.
