This genuine OEM Rainbow pigtail cord (Part #R4889) fits the RainbowMate RM-2 and carries power from the electric hose to the power nozzle. It works with the R5826 or R4147 electric hose to complete the electrical path to the brush-roll motor.
A cord that is frayed, cracked, or worn at the connectors poses a shock and short-circuit risk and should be replaced without delay. Damaged wiring also causes the nozzle to lose power or cut in and out. Fitting the correct pigtail cord restores safe, steady power delivery.
