This genuine OEM Kirby belt lifter is the Sentria II Renovator nozzle belt lifter, fitting Kirby 519, SENTRIA, and Sentria II. The belt lifter raises and lowers the belt onto the brush roll drive when you engage or disengage the nozzle.
A worn or broken belt lifter will not seat or release the belt properly, which can leave the brush roll un-driven or make the nozzle hard to engage. Restoring the lifter returns correct belt engagement and smooth nozzle operation.
