This genuine OEM flat belt lifter washer ships as a two-pack for the Kirby Heritage 1HD. The washer sits within the belt lifter assembly, spacing and stabilizing the moving components so the lifter raises and lowers the belt smoothly.
A missing or worn flat washer lets the belt lifter parts rub, bind, or seat unevenly, which can make belt changes stiff and add play to the mechanism. Installing fresh factory washers restores the correct spacing and keeps the lifter operating without drag.
