The Sanitaire cleaning wand (Part #A03787701) is a genuine OEM extension attachment for the SC5500A and SC5500B commercial uprights. It clips into the hose end and lengthens your reach for stairs, upholstery, and the high corners a floor head cannot touch.
Wands take repeated bumps and drops, and a cracked or split tube leaks air and drops suction at the tool. A wand that no longer locks cleanly onto the hose can also pop loose mid-clean. Fitting the correct replacement restores a firm, airtight connection and full above-floor pickup.
