This genuine OEM Sanitaire switch button frame (Part #A03868301) fits the Eureka and Sanitaire SC5500A, SC5500B, and SC5505A commercial uprights. The frame holds the on/off button in the handle and guides it cleanly against the electrical switch beneath.
A cracked or worn frame lets the button sit loose, stick, or miss the switch contact, which shows up as a machine that is hard to turn on or cuts out during use. Because the frame takes a press every cycle, it eventually loosens. A new frame returns a firm, positive click and dependable starts.
