Product details
A rear wheel that drags against the housing, or a commercial upright rolling with a lean to one side, points toward a bent shaft at the back of the machine. Part 37183 is the direct replacement for that shaft, built for Eureka's Quick Kleen line, also sold under the Sanitaire nameplate.
Both rear wheels turn on this single piece, so it absorbs the bulk of a commercial upright's weight the moment it gets tipped back into working position. Constant use in tight commercial settings is hard on it: a driven impact into a door threshold or a rough drop down a stairwell will bend it, and once bent it wears the wheel bores oval as the wheels spin off center from then on.
Fitting a straight replacement alongside wheels that already carry worn bores rarely solves the problem for long, the ovaled bore keeps letting the wheel run loose regardless of how true the new shaft underneath it is. Support the base of the machine while pressing the new shaft through, working it in evenly so both wheels seat flush and spin true.
Coverage runs across the Eureka and Sanitaire C2094D, C2094E, C2094F, C2094FB, C2094G, C2094G1, C2094G2, C2094G3, C2094GW, C2094H, C2094H1, C2095A, C2132A, C2132B, C2132B1, C2132B2, C2132B3, C2133A, C4046D, C4046E, C4046F, C4046F1, C4047A, HE4046A, S645A, SC684F, SC688, SC689A, SC886F, SC886G, SC889A and SC899G.
