This replacement base assembly (Part #579025) fits the Eureka SC689A and Sanitaire SC689A commercial uprights. Available in red or black, it is the screw-on-bag style with the wheels mounted on the outside of the base.
The base forms the lower housing that carries the motor, wheels, and cleaning path. A cracked or broken base lets air leak, throws off wheel alignment, and can expose internal parts. A sound base restores structural integrity and a proper seal.
