This cord protector (part 36097355N) fits Eureka and Sanitaire 1400 series vacuums and also works on Shark machines, covering models 1950A, 2122A, 2124A, and S645A. The sleeve reinforces the power cord where it exits the body, at the point that flexes hardest during use.
Repeated bending at the strain relief cracks the cord jacket over time and can expose the wires beneath, which creates a shock hazard and unreliable power. A fresh protector adds that reinforcement back, spreading the flex along the sleeve so the insulation holds up and the cord lasts.
