This carbon motor brush with spring is an OEM-specification replacement for 6.5 and 7.0 amp motors and also fits Titan and Perfect uprights. It matches Eureka C2132B3 and Sanitaire C2132B3 and rides against the commutator to carry current to the armature.
Carbon brushes wear down as they conduct, and short or worn brushes cause weak power, intermittent running, arcing, or a motor that will not start. Fresh brushes with proper spring tension restore steady contact and reliable motor power.
