This replacement bushing bracket fits the Sanitaire 2034 and related S635A and S645A uprights, supporting a bushing that keeps a rotating shaft aligned within the machine body. The bracket holds the bushing steady so the shaft it carries turns true rather than wobbling in its mount.
When the bracket cracks or wears, the bushing shifts out of position, which introduces play, noise, and uneven wear on the parts it locates. Installing a sound bracket returns proper alignment and quiets the drag that a loose mount creates.
