This is the 8mm motor bearing used in the Ametek Lamb motors fitted to Eureka and Sanitaire commercial uprights, carried as part 32-8305-05 and cross-referenced to bearing 77038. It is a single bearing that supports the armature shaft, not a motor assembly.
A failing bearing announces itself long before the motor quits. You hear a rising whine or a growl, the machine sounds rough as it spins down, and there is often heat or vibration coming back through the handle. Replacing the bearing at that stage saves the armature and the field windings behind it.
Our fitment data covers the Eureka and Sanitaire SC684F, SC688, SC689A, SC877D, SC877E, SC886F, SC886G, SC887D, SC887E and the SC888G, SC888M and SC888N, along with Ametek motor numbers from 114786 through 115923. Check the number stamped on your motor and the 8mm bore before ordering.
