Product details
The right-hand scroll housing pairs with its left-hand counterpart to close off the chamber that channels air from the fan into the machine's airflow path. Ordered as part B220-4014, it is the replacement piece covering Clean Max's ZM800, Maytag's M500, Titan's T500, and Riccar's and Simplicity's R10P and R10S.
Because the two housing halves meet at a seam, a crack or warp in either one breaks the seal for both, and a broken seal this close to the fan costs more suction than a leak found further along the airflow path. Age, heat cycling, and a housing over-tightened during a previous service all show up the same way. A whistle or rushing sound near the motor bay while the machine runs is often the first sign of a seam that no longer closes fully, showing up before a full drop in suction becomes obvious at the floor. Catching it at that stage, rather than waiting for a noticeable loss of cleaning performance, is what keeps a small seam leak from turning into a bigger complaint later.
- Part: B220-4014 right-hand scroll housing
- Fits: Clean Max ZM800, Maytag M500, Titan T500, Riccar R10P/R10S, Simplicity R10P/R10S
- Function: closes the right half of the chamber that draws fan output into the airflow path
Replace both halves together when the seam shows wear on each side rather than swapping only the cracked one, since a new half paired with a worn one will still leak at the join. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
