This replacement poly-V belt keeps the brush roll spinning on Riccar and Simplicity Superlite uprights and their CleanMax counterparts. Part number B014-1200, its ribbed poly-V profile grips the motor pulley and brush roll for firm, positive power transfer. The belt drives the roller that agitates carpet as you clean.
Belts stretch, glaze, and crack with heat and use, and a loose or worn belt lets the brush roll turn too slowly or stop altogether. When that happens, carpet cleaning falls off even if suction still feels strong. A fresh belt restores full brush roll speed and agitation.
