Clean Max LH Scroll Housing...

Product details
Suction depends on a sealed path from the fan to the nozzle, and the scroll housing is the shaped shell that keeps that path closed off. Part B220-4114 is the left-hand half, listed for the Clean Max ZM800, the Maytag M500, the Titan T500, and the Riccar and Simplicity R10P and R10S.
A crack or break anywhere in the scroll opens a leak right next to the fan, and a leak that close to the source costs more suction at the floor than the same size gap further down the airflow path. Warping from heat and age has the same effect, since the two housing halves stop meeting cleanly at the seam. A crack here can be fine enough to miss on a quick look, so take the half right off and turn it slowly against a light before deciding it is sound.
- Part: B220-4114 left-hand scroll housing
- Fits: Clean Max ZM800, Maytag M500, Titan T500, Riccar R10P/R10S, Simplicity R10P/R10S
- Function: forms the left half of the sealed chamber that carries fan output into the airflow path
The housing installs into its original position and seats against its matching right-hand half. Check the seam between the two halves for a clean, even fit all the way around before closing the machine back up. While it is open, clear any packed debris out of the airflow path and confirm the fan turns freely by hand, so the machine goes back to full service with nothing else working against the new seal. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
