This OEM inlet duct cover is a factory-specification replacement for the Clean Max ZM800, Maytag M500, Titan T500, and the Riccar and Simplicity R10P and R10S. The cover closes off the inlet duct, the passage that carries debris from the nozzle toward the bag, keeping that path sealed so airflow stays contained. A properly seated cover keeps suction where it belongs.
A cracked, warped, or missing duct cover opens a leak in the airflow path, and any leak ahead of the bag drops suction at the floor. A sound replacement cover reseals the duct and restores full airflow. It is a straightforward fix for a common source of lost suction.
