This OEM fan housing is a replacement for the Carpet Pro CP-ULW and ZM-400, the Fuller Brush FB-SM, and the Simplicity and Riccar R10E. The housing surrounds the fan and forms the sealed passage that carries suction from the motor to the cleaning head and on through the filtration. It both directs airflow and shields the internal parts from dust and impact.
Even a small crack in the fan housing opens an air leak, and a leak upstream of the nozzle bleeds off suction before it reaches the floor. Housing damage also tends to grow worse with continued use. A sound replacement housing restores the sealed airflow path and full suction at the nozzle.
