We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The nozzle bumper is the trim strip that runs around the front of a Kirby cleaning head, and this genuine Kirby part, 140406, is the one fitted to the Sentria upright.
It is there to take impacts so the nozzle casting does not. Every chair leg, baseboard and door frame the machine meets is met by the bumper first, and over the years the material hardens, splits at the corners, or works loose and falls away. Once it is gone the bare edge of the nozzle marks paintwork and dents wooden trim, and the casting itself starts to chip.
Replacing a bumper is one of the cheapest ways to keep a Sentria looking cared for and to stop it damaging the house. Fit a new one at the first sign of cracking rather than waiting for it to come off entirely.
