Part 561055129 is the 10-foot hose for the Kenmore DU2012 upright — the on-board hose you pull off the machine for stairs, upholstery and the corners the nozzle cannot reach. It is a direct replacement made to the original length and end fittings, so it seats airtight on the DU2012 without adapters.
Hoses die at the ends first. The cuffs crack where the hose flexes against them, the wall kinks and stays kinked, and every split bleeds off suction that never reaches the tool. If the DU2012 pulls strongly at the base but weakly through the hose, or hisses somewhere along its length, the hose has run its course.
The full 10-foot reach is worth having on this machine: it is what lets an upright clean a flight of stairs from one position. A fresh hose gives that reach back, carrying the suction it should.
