Part 561055118 is the HEPA filter Kenmore lists for the BU4022 and the DU2012 RPL bagged upright.

Unlike a foam or cloth element, this HEPA media comes sealed and is meant to be swapped out rather than rinsed clean once it fills up. As it loads with fine dust the machine still runs and still picks up debris off the floor, but airflow through the exhaust drops and the exhaust can start carrying a faint dusty smell that was not there when the filter was fresh.
