The hose retainer clip (Part #36172014) is a replacement clip for the Hoover WindTunnel upright. It holds the attachment hose against the body of the machine when you are not using it for above-floor cleaning. It fits Hoover models U6607-900, U6616-900, U6617-900, U6626-900, U6630-900, U6632-900, U6634-900, UH60000, and UH60010, plus Oreck PT151.
With the clip broken or missing, the hose dangles loose and gets underfoot or snags on furniture while you vacuum. A sound clip keeps the hose tucked and out of the way until you need the tools.
