Hoover part 430001077 is the screw that fastens the upper handle to the body on the UH70100 WindTunnel and the UH30600, and on a long run of related WindTunnel uprights.
It is the fastener people lose. It backs out during a handle removal and disappears into the carpet, or the head strips because the handle has been flexed against it for years. Either way the handle starts to rock and rattle against the body, and the play gets worse each time you tilt the machine back.
The same screw is used on the Hoover UH30300, UH30302, UH30308 and UH30310, the UH70200 through UH70215 WindTunnel Series machines, the UH71003 through UH71251 uprights, and the CH53010 and CP50000 commercial models. Driving in a fresh one takes the wobble straight out.
