This genuine OEM Hoover cyclone filter is the red filter for the U5180 Fusion bagless upright. It sits in the dirt cup airflow path, trapping fine dust before air reaches the motor.
A loaded filter chokes suction and can push fine dust back into the room instead of holding it. A clean OEM filter restores airflow and returns strong pickup to the machine.
