This genuine OEM Oreck brush roll with magnet fits the Oreck U2000RB-1 and U2000RB2L-1 uprights along with the Hoover CH50200 and CH50300. The bristles drive aggressive carpet agitation, while the built-in magnet works with the machine's sensor system to track roll speed.
Bristles flatten and shorten with use, and a worn roll cannot lift dirt from the pile the way a fresh one does. Wrapped hair and thread add drag on the belt and motor. A new brush roll returns full agitation and cleaning bite.
