This replacement Hall Sensor Idler Assembly fits the Fuller Brush FBP-14PWBP and also serves the Maytag M700 and the Simplicity and Riccar R10P and R10S. The assembly combines the belt idler with a Hall-effect sensor that reports brush-roll motion to the machine's electronics.
When the idler wears or the Hall sensor fails, the vacuum may misread brush-roll speed, trip a fault, or lose proper belt tension. A worn idler also lets the belt slip. Fitting a fresh assembly restores accurate sensing and steady tension so the drive runs as intended.
