CMPS-SF is the electrostatic secondary filter that sits between the bag and the motor on Carpet Pro's commercial uprights, sold one to a pack. It covers the CPU-1T and CPU-2T that give it its name, the wider CPU and CMP-3 range, the Clean Max CMPS-QD, the Fuller Brush FBHD and FBMM uprights, and the Titan T4000, T4000.2, TC6000 and TC6000.2.
Secondary filters are out of sight, so they are the ones nobody changes. The machine that supposedly needs a new motor has usually just been breathing through a gray mat of fine dust for two years: the bag looks fine, the belt is fine, and suction has quietly halved.
Swap it and the airflow comes straight back. On a machine in daily use it is worth renewing every six to twelve months.
