SEBO Exhaust Filter for 370 Series

Everything a 370 picks up arrives on moving air, and part 1878 is the filter that air passes through on its way back out. Sitting at the exhaust of the machine downstream of the motor, it is the last stage between the inside of the vacuum and the room you are standing in.

Fits the SEBO 370 Comfort and the ELECTRONIC 370. A dark or matted pad is reason enough to change it, and so is a smell that turns up whenever the machine runs. Odour is far more often the exhaust stage than the bag, because that is where warm air and trapped fine dust sit together between uses. A loaded pad also restricts flow as it fills, so an old one costs the machine some of its pickup on top of what it does to the air.

Doing the two filter stages together is the tidy approach: 1875 is the standard pre-motor microfilter for these machines and 1825 the non-standard version, while 5093AM is the bag box that covers the 370 Comfort and ELECTRONIC 370.

The exhaust stage is what people judge a vacuum by without realising it. Air leaving the machine crosses the room at about head height, and if the filter behind the grille is loaded then the smell, the fine dust and the warm draught all arrive with it. That is how a machine can be perfectly sound mechanically and still be unpleasant to use.
