Product details
Tools that keep dropping off the back of the machine have usually outlived their clip. This is the light gray one, shown at position 39 in the SEBO 300/350 Mechanical parts drawing and carried on the lower rear of the bag housing.
As the retaining tab wears round it loses its bite, so the tool rides loose, rattles as the machine is pushed and eventually parts company with the vacuum somewhere between rooms. The wear is gradual and easy to miss: the usual sign is that the tool has to be pressed in harder than it used to, or that it now sits at a slight angle rather than square in its cradle. A clip is a small part with an outsized nuisance value, since what it loses is the crevice tool or brush that came with the machine.
Light gray is one of three finishes SEBO moulds this clip in, so order by colour as well as by model — 1823HG is the light gray one.

- Colour: light gray
- Position: lower rear of the bag housing
- Retains: an on-board cleaning tool
- Diagram position: 39 on the SEBO 300/350 Mechanical drawing
- Part number: 1823HG — the same clip is 1823GS in gray black and 1823SW in black
Its breadth of fitment is the useful part of this listing. One light gray clip covers Essential G machines, the 300 and 350 Mechanical models and the 370 uprights, so anyone maintaining a mixed fleet of SEBO uprights can stock a single number rather than several. Searches for a SEBO tool clip, an Essential G accessory clip or a 370 attachment clip all end at 1823HG.
Genuine SEBO, normally shipping in 2–5 business days. Push the replacement in until the tab clicks past the housing lip, and check the tool's own spigot for wear while you are there, because a rounded spigot will slip out of a brand new clip just as readily as it slipped out of the old one.
