The 7606 combo tool, part 609902, is a small clip-on dust brush listed for a range of Sanitaire and Eureka commercial uprights.
It mounts on the wand for vents, window sills, and blinds, plus the upper edges of baseboards, the everyday dusting jobs that do not call for the main floor nozzle. Small brushes like this tend to disappear rather than wear out, left on a sill or dropped into a trash bag, and once gone the wand tip has no bristles to work fabric and hard surfaces gently.
Beyond the SC5845B and SC5845D, this same combo tool is listed for the Sanitaire SC5713B, SC5713D, SC5745B and SC5815E, the Eureka C5712A and 4700A, the Eureka 2961AVZ, and the Electrolux-Eureka EL5010A.
