This replacement dirt cup is the bagless collection bin for the Sanitaire 5857AZ and fits models including the Eureka and Sanitaire SC5745B, SC5845B, and SC5845D. The cup catches and holds dust and debris pulled in during cleaning, then empties for reuse.
A dirt cup that cracks, warps, or loses its seal lets debris leak and can drop suction where it meets the machine. Because the cup is handled and emptied constantly, damage is common. A sound replacement cup restores a clean, sealed catch so the vacuum collects and holds debris the way it should.
