This genuine OEM coupling hose, part 2961, fits a wide range of Eureka and Sanitaire uprights and restores full suction for above-floor cleaning. It carries airflow from the machine to the attachments, and a sound hose keeps that path sealed end to end.
A cracked, split, or clogged hose sharply reduces suction and can whistle at the leak points. Fitting a fresh coupling hose re-establishes an airtight run so the tools pull at full strength.
