Small part, specific job: part A430-0405 is the washer that sits under the upper cord hook on the Fuller Brush HD series and the Carpet Pro uprights. It spreads the load of the hook against the housing so the fastener does not bear directly on plastic.
Without it the hook goes loose and starts to rotate under the weight of a wrapped cord, which is how cord hooks end up snapping off and how the plastic around them cracks. If your hook swings when you wrap the cord, the washer is usually missing or flattened.
It fits the Carpet Pro CP-ULW, CPU1, CPU1QD, CPU1T, CPU2, CPU2T and ZM-400, the Fuller Brush FBHD1, FBHD1T, FBPHD2 and FBPHD2T, the Maytag M1200, M500 and M700, the Riccar and Simplicity R10P and R10S, and the Titan TC6000.2. Order it with a new hook if the hook itself is already worn.
