Part A732-8314 is the screw that secures the upper cord hook on the Fuller Brush FBHD1T and the Carpet Pro, Riccar, Simplicity and Maytag uprights built alongside it. It is sized and threaded for that specific boss, which is why a hardware-store substitute tends to strip the plastic rather than hold in it.
Cord hooks get pulled on hundreds of times a week in commercial use. The screw backs out gradually, the hook begins to swing, and once it is loose the hook levers against its mount until the plastic cracks. A screw that will not stay tight has usually lost its thread and needs replacing, not another turn.
It fits the Carpet Pro CP-ULW, CPU1QD, CPU1T, CPU2T, CPU3N, CPU3QD, SCBP1.2 and ZM-400, the Fuller Brush FBPHD2 and FBPHD2T, the Maytag M1200, M500 and M700, the Riccar and Simplicity R10P and R10S, and the Titan T500 and TC6000.2.
