This genuine OEM brush roll is the fine-bristle back brush for the Kirby AVALIR 2 and AVALIR PLATINUM, cross-referenced to Bissell 2600, 2060, and 2061. The fine bristles agitate carpet fibers to lift embedded dirt and pull it into the airstream on each pass.
When bristles flatten, wear short, or break off, the roller glides over the carpet instead of digging in, and pickup falls off even with strong suction. A fresh brush roll renews firm bristle contact and sharp agitation for a deeper clean.
